Sharon M. Coleman is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) who has been in full-time private practice in since 2007. Sharon M. Coleman received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Trinity College and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont .
She has specialized training in the innovative and highly effective treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder called Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a Level II trained EMDR therapist and since her initial EMDR training in 2006, she has provided relief for many people suffering with emotional distress associated with trauma.
Sharon M. Coleman, LICSW, LADC is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and the National Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). Sharon is currently working towards becoming a certified EMDR consultant.
